Who? Retired sound engineer who loves music from the 60's & early 70's.
What? My aim is to make rare stuff publicly available again with the best possible sound quality.
Let's try that again (I was so giddy with this latest installment that my typing when off the the track ....
Well Professor you did it again .... a really BIG Smile on my face because of your successful efforts on Easter Everywhere (in STEREO). I've heard of JWB rips but never seem to find them but in your hands I know that the results are a "silk purse" ! ...Cheers and thanks again.
Yr treatment of the Elevators is absolutely fantastic...Psychedelic Sounds, now Easter! I'm appreciative of the rips that exist, but if Bull showed up too...hoo boy!
hi i have downloaded but for some reason the file type is not recognised. i have tried converting to MP3 (the shame) but i cannot get my software to d that either ... any clues ? cheers
I'm sorry but I'm too stupid apparently to figure out how to download the albums from this fine website. If someone wants to drop me a line and explain I'd be grateful. aperer@gmail.com
Now I comprehend - finally- why this LP is so prized. Lovely rip... smooth clean sound... nice bass... fantastic dynamics compared to record company reissues. I am really impressed Prof & co. - thank you for sharing ;)
OMG! I have loved this LP for decades and thought I knew it like the back of my hand. Of course I had only heard poor quality re-releases. This is truly revelatory. Can't thank you enough for this.
Oh wow, Stacy's leads really stand out and I really hear the individual instruments!! I've just heard the muddy reissues all these years. Thank you so much for this!!
As with your transfer of the debut album, this made me feel like I'd been listening to "EE" with a veil over the speakers all my life due to the futzed re-issues. Your upload has removed that veil. Thanks very much.

This is such an important album, every tweak that improves earlier flaws is nearly landmark. Thanks for the effort Professor.
ReplyDeleteWonderful - the sound the band deserves.
ReplyDeleteVery nice.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought is how much clearer the instruments sound on Slip Inside This House. You can really hear the difference.
Thanks
Thanks, especially for the stereo "Slip Inside." The previous "Audiophile" rip from circa 2015 is top notch, but they opted for a mono "Slip Inside"
ReplyDeleteThere is no such thing as a stereo "Slip Inside". It is mono, as the notes indicate.
ReplyDeleteawesome! Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteExcellent. Thank you!
